Engineered Quartz (or simply referred to as Quartz) is man-made, manufactured from 80% to 85% quartz (one of nature’s hardest minerals), polymer resins and pigments that are compacted under intense vibration, vacuum, and pressure into dense, non-porous slabs.

Quartz does not require sealing and is also one of the bacteria-free surfaces available.  It has in recent years, made inroads in kitchen and counter tops.
