Care & Maintenance
To ensure that CANDEO's surface remains in perfect condition for decades to come, try cleaning the natural surface daily with a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and a few drops of mild dish detergent. Doing so would
keep the surface polished and preserve its natural glow.
As natural surfaces are porous, we recommend sealing to be done prior to use. Do clean a stain as soon as possible so that it does not stay on that particular spot for too long, causing a permanent repercussion effect.
Natural surfaces like granite and marble are heat and fire resistant. However, to prevent possible damage, avoid sudden and rapid temperature, direct contact with flame, radiations as well as placement near objects with extremely high temperatures. We
recommend using hot pads or trivets should any hot object be put on the top.
Do not use regular household cleaners such as glass cleaner, bleach or any other abrasive chemical on your natural surface. The acidity and other chemicals contained in these products will degrade the sealer and can etch the surface leaving it more vulnerable to
staining.
Quartz Care & Maintenance
ARCUS' quartz surfaces are non-porous, durable and easy to maintain. You can simply use a soft microfiber cloth to dust off the quartz surfaces. We also recommend using a damp cloth (lightly dipped in water) to wipe
daily / when needed.
ARCUS' quartz surfaces are heat resistant but we should avoid sudden & rapid temperature changes to prevent possible damage. It is recommended to use hot pads or trivets should any hot object be put on the top.
ARCUS' quartz surfaces are stain resistant. Stains can usually be removed with cleaners such as CIF. To remove oil stains or powder on ARCUS' quartz surfaces, rinse thoroughly & immediately with clean
water. We also recommend avoiding acidic foods like tomatoes, citrus fruits, vinegar, etc. on the quartz surfaces.
To avoid possible damage to the quartz surface, never clean the surface with products with Trichlorethane / Methylene Chloride or Caustic Soda. Please do not use harsh chemicals /abrasive cleaners as these will damage or dull ARCUS' quartz surfaces.
Even though ARCUS' quartz surfaces are scratch resistant, we recommend that cutting boards should always be used and avoid using sharp objects such as sharp knives or screw drivers directly onto the surface.
We do not recommend placing ARCUS' quartz surfaces outdoor or in places that receive strong emissions of ultra-violet rays.
Care & Maintenance
VULCAN's sintered surface is non-porous, impermeable and does not require periodic sealing like natural stones. It requires virtually none or minimal maintenance. You can simply use a soft microfiber cloth to dust
off the surface, or use a damp cloth (lightly dipped in water) to wipe daily / when needed.
VULCAN is highly stain resistant. Remove any spills then rinse with water, making it perfect for any households. Do avoid using metal sponges or abrasive cleaners on the surface though as these might damage the surface.
VULCAN products are highly heat and fire resistant. However, to prevent possible damage, avoid sudden and rapid temperature, direct contact with flame, radiations as well as placement near objects with extremely
high temperatures. We recommend using hot pads or trivets should any hot object be put on the top.
VULCAN is highly resistant to scratches making it perfect for both residential and commercial applications. However, it is still recommended to use a cutting surface and still be diligent in manoeuvring around delicate
corners and edges that are more susceptible to chipping. Avoid using sharp objects such as sharp knives or screw drivers directly onto the surface.
